Golf Course in Ponta Do Pargo

The construction of the new Nick Faldo endorsed golf course at last has commenced. Some of the items of machinery had to be air lifted onto the site by helicopter. I understand that there has been an increase of property investors trawling the area seeking property and land. The golf course is bound to have an effect on prices in the area.

Seeking Property and Land in Madeira

Madeira is a country which in the past and present has not been pushed into the spiralling property prices war or the 'lions den' of the overseas property market.

From my many visits to the island I was impressed with the scenery, quality of life, cost of goods and services, infrastructure improvements, property values and the hospitality of the local people.

The only negative aspect was the service offered by local agents who were not on a parallel to UK agents, failing to give full dimensions and description of their listed properties.

I have land for sale and emailed various agents with particulars for them to list the details. I did not receive one acknowledgement to my enquiry.

It must be that property agents earn their fees too easily!
